Icey

It is cold in Nanchang, and since Mao decreted that South of the YangTse it be warm, no proper insulation or heating equipment is part of standard construction. The difference in temperature between the icy branch and my study, frailly separated by a single window pane, is negligible.
Thank God, for bourgeois luxuries like heating blankets and a bottle of rum.
