Application Procedure etc.
When you contact the administration you will be asked to provide:
1) Resume
2) Copy of passport
3) Copy of degrees
4) 2 Letters of recommendation.
5) Physical exam form
Once the administration approves your application you will receive a letter of invitation.
With this letter of invitation you will apply for a Z-visa at your closest consulate. Again, you need to present the physical exam form.
Despite your valiant efforts to obtain a signature from your physician on the physical exam form, the Chinese health authorities will perform their own check up (at your cost of close to 400 Rmb).
A couple of weeks after you have arrived in China, you will sign a work contract.
The university of Nanchang offers various programs including an MBA program for foreigners. Depending on what you teach to whom, your classes might start anywhere from the beginning of September to mid October.
The pay is not high, on the other hand it is not easy to spend money, since food, clothing etc is cheap, housing electricity is being provided for and you can reach everything by foot. To go to Nanchang the taxi fare is about 30 Rmb (4 dollars and a bit).
